As a blogger myself, I naturally like to read other people’s blogs. There are several fashion blogs that I follow closely, but I’ve also found a number of great travel blogs written by what can only be described as strong, independent, and adventurous women from all over the globe. So, if you ever need new ideas for where to go and what to do on your next vacation, you can always grab a couple of fresh tips from these lovely ladies…
Adventurous Kate (www.adventurouskate.com)
Kate, arguably the most popular female travel blogger on the web, also has one of the best jobs in the world: travelling full-time and writing about her wacky and incredible adventures.
Camels & Chocolate (www.camelsandchocolate.com)
This oddly named blog (there’s a story behind it, actually) is the brainchild of professional travel writer Kristin Luna. Very nicely written (she’s written for God knows how many newspapers and magazines), but also funny and witty.
My Beautiful Adventures (mybeautifuladventures.com)
Andi, writer of My Beautiful Adventures, is a blond, American woman who works as a traditional Chinese medicine doctor and travel photojournalist. And yes, her blog is also full of exciting surprises.
Muza Chan’s Gate to Japan (muza-chan.net)
Remember how I mentioned that one of my lifelong dreams is to go on a trip across Japan? So, naturally I like to read up a lot on the culture, food, and travel options there; and this great blog has all of that and more…
A Little Bird Told Me (www.littlebirdfashion.com)
Now, this is actually a (great) fashion blog, but there’s also quite a few nifty travel articles here, including photography and holiday shopping tips, as well as lots and lots of vacation stories. Oh, and this is also the site that introduced me to AirBnb.
