The perfect scent…

comment(s)

I don’t often wear perfume… in fact I almost never use perfume. Why? I’m not sure… maybe I just never felt the need to do so. But then, there are also quite a lot of people who tend to wear too much perfume. I’m sure most of us have had our fair share of crossing paths with ladies (and the occasional gentleman) with a scent that is simply overpowering, right? Well, fortunately, avoiding too much perfume is a simple matter…

The most important thing to consider is that humans adapt… as such, wearing a certain fragrance every day (or frequently) will make us ‘immune’ to the scent. So, it’s all too easy for us to end up applying too much perfume in an effort to make up for what we believe to be the diminishing efficacy of our favorite fragrance. But all we’ll do is suffocate anybody nearby with a functioning sense of smell… ^^;

So, basically, no matter what your own nose tells you, a single spray of perfume on your wrists, elbows, and collarbones will be enough to create just the right amount of fragrance…

Oh, and lastly: don’t rub your wrists together after applying perfume. Doing so will affect the oils contained in the blend which, in turn, will chemically alter the scent, leaving you with something that you might not enjoy. So, just let the air dry it…
