Go to any supermarket or department store, and then look for the skincare products section. It’s basically guaranteed that you’ll find more than one lotion, body scrub, soap, shampoo, etc. with honey as a major ingredient. Basically, we’ve known for centuries that honey is healthy when consumed and also very good for your skin.

Also, it’s very easy to make your own honey-based skincare solutions. For example:

Skin conditioner: This one is great if you’re suffering from dry skin. Take one teaspoon of honey and mix it with one teaspoon of vegetable oil and a little bit of lemon juice. Rub the mixture on any part of your skin that feels dry, leave it for about 10 minutes, and then rinse it off.

Skin toner: Want extra firm skin? Take an apple, then peel it, get rid of the core and seeds, and mash it into a smooth pulp. Add a tablespoon of honey, mix well, and then apply the mixture to your face. Leave it for approximately 15 minutes, and then rinse it off.

Exfoliator: Take one tablespoon of finely grounded almonds, add a tablespoon of honey, two tablespoons of dry oatmeal, and finally a teaspoon of lemon juice. Mix well, then massage the mixture (gently, though) onto your face for around 5 minutes and then rinse it off with water.
