So, I thought it’d be best if I started off my New Year’s Resolution list with something simple but actually pretty important: Get up early in the morning, every day… I mean, how hard can that be?

Actually, waking up early isn’t hard at all. Of course, how you will get up depends a lot on your own schedule, past habits, and so on… but there are several handy tricks that might make the whole process even easier, such as:

- Go to sleep on time, and eliminate as many distractions as possible from your bedroom (no TV, turn off your phone, and kill the lights).

- Set up your phone’s alarm to play an annoying song to ensure that you’ll get up. Or, if that doesn’t work, use a song you like so you’ll get up feeling happy.

- Drink plenty of water before going to bed, thereby making sure that we’ll wake up in order to go to the toilet. Now, this method might take a bit of fine tuning since it’s just as likely that you’ll wake up at 4AM. On second thought, this method should probably only be used if all others fail… ^^a
