Hopefully you’re not sick of “spring this” and “spring that” yet… because, hey, spring is the season of new things, of creating new things. And even here, where we only have the dry and rainy seasons, we can still tap into that spirit of creation and reinvention to create ‘a new you’. Who knows… you might like what you find… ;)
But, uh, what kind of new paths should we look at?
The easiest, simplest, and perhaps most fun option you can try is to reorganize your wardrobe. Clear out clothes you’ll no longer be wearing and add some spring-themed items or item combinations. As we’ve covered before, jeans and plain tops can be a nice pairing. Or perhaps a flowing spring dress with colorful patterns or cool pastel shades. The choice is yours...
This is also perhaps a great time to do some serious cleaning around the house. There’s a reason why spring cleaning is such a strong tradition.
Better yet, try redecorating your home by adding some spring-inspired touches. Some flowers could be nice—and you don’t really need anything too fancy, even a bunch of wildflowers in a glass jar can add some much needed color to a dreary room. Dried flowers works just as well. Not too keen on having to tend to indoor vegetation? Perhaps a new set of drapes (or pillows, sofa covers, or even wall tapestries) with bright colors and fun patterns can cheer up your home.
See, a clean house has its obvious benefits—mostly related to your health. But a new, brighter, cheerier, and more colorful abode can inspire you and motivate you.
In much the same way, a brighter, cheerier, and more colorful you will also be much more inspired and motivated, no? ;)
