This isn’t exactly surprising when you remember that weather is one of the biggest factors to affect our skin. So, why don’t we take a peek at some of the definite skincare advice for this year? Now, spring has always been a symbol of rebirth. Does this have anything to do with skincare? Of course! And the keyword here is: exfoliate. Actually, this is best done all year… but with the weather the way it is now, exfoliating becomes all the more important.

Moving on, one rule of thumb everybody should start following is “as long as there’s daylight, we need sunscreen”. Never underestimate how strong the sunlight can get when you’re outdoors.
When seasons change, it might also be a good idea to ‘detox’ your makeup kit. Get rid of anything you won’t be using anymore and—more importantly—consider replacing outdated and old products. A new foundation, perhaps; or maybe a moisturizer with SPF (see previous tip).
Another thing to remember when the weather starts to change is that our skin’s oil production levels change as well. So, consider this factor when you’re shopping for skincare products.

Of course, a bit of pampering might do your skin good, right? So, how about a nice face mask? Here’s an easy one you can try at home: buy a package of oatmeal, mix it with hot water (just follow instructions on the packaging), let it cool off, and then apply to your skin. Let it rest for 15 minutes, then rinse off with warm water.
