Autumn on Your Lips

comment(s)

Do you often hesitate to use darker shades of lipstick simply because you think it would be too much for you? If so, now might be the time, what with the onset of fall/winter trends bringing with them many darker shades. Besides, dark lip colors doesn’t always mean scarier, but can also hint at something sexier. So, to unleash your inner femme fatale, these shade might pique your interest...

1. Brick Red
Though red lips will never go out of style, a burnt orange hue mixed with red and a hint of rusty brown (in other words: brick red) might be more appropriate for this season.

2. Nude Beige
Nude lips are very low profile, but when paired with something bold and dramatic such as fierce eye makeup, they can be very sexy.

3. Dark Purple
For a truly mysterious look, the darker your purple lipstick is, the better. Go for a purple lipstick that looks almost black in the tube.

4. Mauve
This tone has an aura of simplicity, much like nude beige, but it is also super flattering for any skin tone.

5. Brown
This is what you should pick if you want to achieve a genuine ‘90s look. The key is to choose a shade that complements your skin tone.

6. Oxblood Red
This is a great deep, rich color that really pops and makes your lips the center of attention.
