For many people, picking a wedding ring can feel quite overwhelming... as if you have to make a million decisions, and it’s just one small entry in a long to-do list for your big day. So, it definitely helps to have at least a rough idea about what to ask your chosen jeweler to help you pick the right ring. What questions are we talking about? Read on, ladies...

“Is the ring made in-house?”
Put simply, it’s always best to deal directly with the maker of your ring instead of a retailer. So, make sure that you pick a brand that crafts their own products.

“What after sale services are available?”
Like any other piece of jewelry, wedding rings need to be regularly cleaned. Annual polishing or plating services are also nice, along with minor repairs for, say, loose settings. So, make sure what you’re getting with a purchase.

“What happens if the ring doesn’t fit?”
This can become a problem for grooms-to-be looking to surprise their future wives. So, make sure if the jeweler in question offers free resizing services.

“How can I make sure that this wedding ring will sit flush with an engagement ring?”
If you’re going to have both an engagement ring and a wedding ring, you want them to match each other, right? Even if you’re getting both pair of rings from the same jeweler, ask if they can make sure that both sets of rings will sit flush with each other.

“What does the warranty cover?”
Make sure that you know what is and what isn’t covered under any warranty being offered.
